The USA survive a late onslaught from Iran to secure a 1-0 victory - they'll progress in second place.
A comfortable 3-0 win for England after two stunning goals for Rashford and a tap-in for Foden - this win seals the top of the group.
68' - Rashford controls a long ball out on the wing before calmly dribbling the fullback and smashing a left foot shot in at the near the post.
The keeper didn't cover himself in glory there.
51' - Foden makes it two for England as Wales give the ball away in a dangerous area.
50' - Rashford slots a free kick over the wall into the top corner, England have the lead!

USA have a 1 goal lead over Iran while England and Wales are all square, here's the table:
38' - Christian Pulisic side foots home from close range to give the lead to USA!
He takes a heavy collision with the keeper for his troubles and ends up in a heap.
37' - Bellingham dribbles through multiple Welsh players, lays off to Foden only for the shot to be blazed over!

Both games have kicked off in the final round of Group B - here are the advancement scenarios at the start of the matches:
· The winner of this match between IR Iran and USA will progress to the round of last 16.
· IR Iran are unbeaten in both of their two matches against USA (W1-D1-L0).
· The first meeting between these teams was in Lyon in the 1998 World Cup group stage. IR Iran won 2-1 courtesy of goals by Hamid Estili (40') and Mehdi Mahdavikia (84'). Brian McBride (87') scored for USA. Neither side progressed to the knockout phase.
· The most recent game between IR Iran and USA was a 1-1 friendly draw in Los Angeles on 16 January 2000. Chris Armas (48') equalised for the hosts after Mehdi Mahdavikia (7') had given the visitors the lead.
· IR Iran's only other World Cup match versus CONCACAF opposition was a 3-1 defeat against Mexico in Nuremberg in the 2006 group stage. Yahya Golmohammadi's 36th-minute goal remains Iran's most recent first-half goal at the World Cup.
· USA's only other World Cup game against opposition from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) was a 1-1 draw versus Korea Republic in Daegu in the 2002 group stage. Clint Mathis scored for a visiting team that had Gregg Berhalter as an unused substitute.
· Dinamo Zagreb's Sadegh Moharrami faced Chelsea's Christian Pulisic and Sergiño Dest's AC Milan in this season's Champions League. Moharrami and Dest were not on the pitch at the same time.

· IR Iran can survive the (first) group phase for the first time. They will progress with A) a win, B) a draw AND Wales do not beat England. If Iran draw AND Wales win, Iran cannot finish above Wales but they could leapfrog England depending on the goal difference or goals scored tiebreakers.
· Iran could be eliminated in the group stage in all six of their World Cup appearances (including 2022). This could also happen to Tunisia (6 including 2022). Only Scotland (8) have participated in as many World Cups and never reached the knockout phase.
· In IR Iran's five World Cup campaigns, they finished third in their group on two occasions (1998, 2018) and bottom of their group three times (1978, 2006, 2014).
· IR Iran have never won their final group stage game of a World Cup campaign (W0-D2-L3).
· Iran can win multiple matches at a single World Cup for the first time.
· Iran have scored three of their four World Cup goals in 2022 in added time after 90 minutes: 103', 98', 101'. Their last eight World Cup goals goals were all scored in the second half (5 in added time).
· Mehdi Taremi (2) is the only player to net multiple World Cup goals for IR Iran. He could become the first player from an AFC nation to score three goals at a single World Cup (Note: Korea Republic and Japan will play their second game before Iran's match versus USA).
· Sardar Azmoun (41) is third in IR Iran's all-time leading goalscorers, behind only Ali Daei (108) and Karim Bagheri (50).
· Carlos Queiroz took over as coach of the NY/NJ MetroStars early in the inaugural MLS season in 1996. At the end of the campaign he left to take charge of Nagoya Grampus Eight in Japan. The MetroStars squad in 1996 included Tab Ramos who played for USA against IR Iran at the 1998 World Cup.
· Alireza Jahanbakhsh is suspended. Morteza Pouraliganji and Ramin Rezaeian will be suspended if booked.

· USA will reach the knockout phase with a win.
· USA can reach the knockout phase in three consecutive World Cup appearances for the first time. They were eliminated in the round of last 16 in 2010 and 2014 (failed to qualify in 2018).
· If USA draw against Iran, they will be the third team in the current format (from 1998 - 32 teams, 1-2 in group progress) to be eliminated despite being unbeaten in the group stage. In 1998, Belgium were eliminated after three draws and in 2010 New Zealand finished third in the group after three draws.
· USA finished bottom of their group on all four occasions they were eliminated in the World Cup group stage (1950, 1990, 1998, 2006).
· USA lost their final group stage game in seven of their last eight World Cup appearances. The only exception in that run was a 1-0 win against Algeria in 2010 (91st-minute goal by Landon Donovan).
· USA can remain unbeaten in all three of their group matches for the second time, after 2010 (D-D-W).
· USA are winless in their last five World Cup matches (W0-D3-L2), since a 2-1 win against Ghana in the 2014 group stage. They have registered one longer winless run at the World Cup: six games from 2002 to 2010 (W0-D3-L3).
· USA could keep successive clean sheets at the World Cup for the first time since their first two games in 1930: 3-0 wins versus Belgium and Paraguay (they conceded 6 and 7 goals respectively in their following two World Cup matches).
· USA's only win in their last seven games (W1-D5-L1) was a 5-0 victory against Grenada in Austin, Texas, in the CONCACAF Nations League on 10 June 2022 (including four goals by Jesús Ferreira).
· Timothy Weah (1) can become the fifth USA player to score multiple goals at a single World Cup, after Bert Patenaude (4 in 1930), Landon Donovan (3 in 2010 & 2 in 2002), Brian McBride (2 in 2002) and Clint Dempsey (2 in 2014).
· Yunus Musah celebrates his 20th birthday on the day of this game (29 November). The most recent player to score a World Cup goal on his birthday was Patrick Vieira in France's 2-0 group stage victory against Togo on 23 June 2006 (his 30th birthday). Note: as of games played to the end of 26 November.
· Weston McKennie, Tim Ream, Sergiño Dest and Kellyn Acosta wil be suspended if booked.

· There have been 103 official matches between Wales and England. Wales won 14, England 68 and there were 21 draws.
· England (68) are the opponents Wales have lost the most official games against. The Three Lions have only won as many official matches versus Northern Ireland (75).
· This is the second time these teams have met at a major tournament, after the EURO 2016 group stage. England won 2-1 in Lens through goals by substitutes Jamie Vardy (56') and Daniel Sturridge (90+1') after a free-kick by Gareth Bale (42') put Wales ahead. Both teams progressed to the knockout phase (Wales as group winners).
· Wales have lost six consecutive matches against England (failing to score in five of those six defeats), since a 1-0 victory in Wrexham in the British Home Championship on 2 May 1984 (goal by Mark Hughes on his senior international debut). It is their longest losing streak versus the Three Lions since a run of seven from 1908 to 1914.
· The most recent game between Wales and England was a friendly at Wembley Stadium in London on 8 October 2020. The hosts (who gave a debut to Bukayo Saka) won 3-0 through goals by Dominic Calvert-Lewin (26'), Conor Coady (53') and Danny Ings (63'). The following month, Rob Page took over as caretaker manager of Wales to replace Ryan Giggs.
· Rob Page and Gareth Southgate were opposition players in a Premier League game at Vicarage Road on 24 August 1999. Southgate's Aston Villa defeated Page's Watford 1-0 through a goal by Mark Delaney (who made his Wales debut a couple of months later).
· Club teammates who can be in opposition in this game are Danny Ward and James Maddison (Leicester City), and Ben Davies and Eric Dier/Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur).
· Brennan Johnson and Kieffer Moore have both scored a Premier League goal against Jordan Pickford this season. Moore's goal was in the final matchround before the World Cup break (Bournemouth's 3-0 home win versus Everton on 12 November).
