Barcelona to Alpe d’Huez, Then Lausanne to Nice ... the 2026 Tour de France is shaping up as a blockbuster of sweat, strategy, and spectacle.

The 2026 Tour de France route reveal has set the cycling world abuzz, with Barcelona hosting a spectacular Grand Départ and an opening team time trial that promises drama from day one. In the latest podcast, Christophe Mallet, David McKenzie and Grace Brown break down how this format will test team unity and tactics, as the Pyrenees quickly turn the first week into a survival test.

Macka warns that while riders can’t win the race early, they can certainly lose it, as brutal climbs in the Pyrenees set the tone for what’s to come. Later, the legendary Alpe d’Huez returns, bringing both breathtaking views and heart-stopping switchbacks. Grace calls it the “Hollywood climb” — where cycling’s biggest stars earn their legend status.

The episode also celebrates the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, which will include the mythical Mont Ventoux, adding prestige and parity to women’s racing. With the podcast now shifting to a bi-monthly format, Christophe, Macka and Grace promise sharp insights, fresh stories, and plenty to keep fans hooked as the countdown to the summer of cycling 2026 begins.
