Pogačar hunts a fifth Lombardia, Pidcock juggles road and gravel glory, and Meeus and Wiebes shine in Belgian sprints.

Tadej Pogačar chases a record fifth straight Il Lombardia win, leading a powerhouse UAE squad featuring Yates, Del Toro, and Majka in his farewell race. With over 90 team wins this year, Pogačar tackles the 240km Como–Bergamo route aiming to equal Fausto Coppi’s legendary mark.

Tom Pidcock faces a wild weekend — Il Lombardia Saturday, Gravel Worlds Sunday. Prioritising Lombardia, he’s still eyeing history as the first man to hold world titles in cyclocross, MTB, and gravel, taking on rivals Bardet and Mohorič in Limburg.

In Belgium, Jordi Meeus won Binche–Chimay–Binche after a chaotic sprint, while Lorena Wiebes claimed her 25th season victory in the women’s race — both proving Belgian roads never go easy.
