Jai Hindley is out of the Giro after a crash on Stage 6, dealing a big blow to Roglič and Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe. Kaden Groves won the stage; Mads Pedersen kept the leader’s jersey.
Rohan Dennis avoided jail over the death of his wife, Melissa Hoskins. He received a suspended sentence and lost his licence for five years.
Mads Pedersen has signed for life with Lidl-Trek. He leads the Giro and now eyes a Monument win, with Paris-Roubaix in his sights.
