From the Mur de Huy to the Ardennes and on to Switzerland, the peloton rolls from decisive wins to looming showdowns as the road to the racing sharpens across a packed April run.

On 22 April at La Flèche Wallonne, Paul Seixas stunned the men’s race with a fearless late attack on the Mur de Huy, becoming the youngest winner of the classic, while Demi Vollering powered to a second career victory in the women’s event with a perfectly timed acceleration on the final climb.

This Sunday 26 April, Liège-Bastogne-Liège delivers a blockbuster men’s field led by Tadej Pogačar, Remco Evenepoel and the in form Seixas. In the women’s race, Vollering and a strong FDJ-Suez lineup headline a demanding 156 kilometre battle across ten Ardennes climbs.

From Tuesday 28 April, the Tour de Romandie brings six days of hilly racing in western Switzerland, marking Pogačar’s first stage race of the season and a key dress rehearsal for contenders targeting the Giro d’Italia in May.
