Newsflash: November 21st, NSN emerges, Bernaudeau steps down, and Greco remembered

Pro cycling faces big changes in teams, leadership, protests, and a heartbreaking loss with Paige Greco’s passing.

Israel–Premier Tech will re-brand as NSN Cycling Team in 2026, moving away from its Israeli identity. Backed by NSN (Never Say Never) and Swiss group Stoneweg, the team will race under a Swiss licence while remaining based in Spain. Longtime owner Sylvan Adams will step back, and Premier Tech will instead sponsor the French squad St Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93.

Jean René Bernaudeau is retiring after 26 seasons leading TotalEnergies, a team known for nurturing young talent and punching above its weight. Stéphane Heulot will take over as manager, continuing the focus on rider development as the team approaches the end of its title sponsorship in 2026.

The 2025 Tour de France saw a pro-Palestine protester briefly disrupt the Stage 11 finish, receiving a €300 fine.

The cycling world also mourns the loss of Australian Paralympic champion Paige Greco at 28, remembered for her warmth, courage, and lasting impact on the sport.
