Barcelona to Ventoux, Dutch golds and Australian Bronzes in Chile, and Zwift signs on for four more years.

The 2026 Tour de France promises fireworks, starting in Barcelona with a team time trial and covering all five French mountain ranges. With double summit finishes at Alpe d’Huez and 54,000 metres of climbing, it’s being called the toughest modern edition yet - a brutal test of pure power over tactics.

The women’s Tour de France Femmes 2026 kicks off in Switzerland and will end on the iconic Mont Ventoux for the first time. At nine stages, it’s compact but ambitious, with Marion Rousse teasing a “mischievous” route full of surprises. Meanwhile, Zwift has renewed its title sponsorship through 2030, ensuring stability and visibility for women’s cycling at the highest level.

Over in Santiago, the UCI Track Cycling World Championships began with total Dutch domination — three golds from three events. The Netherlands topped both team sprints and the women’s scratch race, while Australia bagged two bronzes to stay in the mix.
