Halloran signs three-year deal with Heidenheim

Australia forward Ben Halloran has swapped clubs in Germany's second-tier competition.

The former Brisbane Roar forward has left Fortuna Dusseldorf and signed with 2.Bundesliga rival Heidenheim.

The 23-year-old, who has six Socceroos caps but struggled to break into recent national squads, signed a three-year contract with Heidenheim.

"We are delighted that this transfer has been concluded," Heidenheim chief executive Holger Sanwald told the club's website.
