After a season with enough twists and turns to give the average viewer whiplash, RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 came to controversial conclusion last night, with the eliminated queens returning to form a Survivor-style jury and have their say on the final outcome.

Following a pretty wild one-take live performance challenge, the finale ~really~ came down to how well Bebe Zahara Benet, Trixie Mattel, Shangela, and Kennedy Davenport could convince their peers they were worthy of the crown. It made for occasionally uncomfortable viewing, but one-by-one the finalists made their case.
Then, once the returning queens' votes were cast and tallied, the final two queens were revealed as Kennedy Davenport and Trixie Mattel - delivering the shock of the season with the elimination of front-runner Shangela. You can see how the votes played out here:

The final two went on to lip-sync to Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" for the crown and - long story short - RuPaul eventually announced Trixie Mattel as the winner.

Here's what the internet thought:

Some were stoked with the results...

While others were a little less enthused...

And some were just straight-up pissed.

However, most just wanted some justice for Shangela.

Past queens were quick to show their support of Trixie and the other finalists...

And some fans just sat back and spilled the tea...

However, regardless of your position on the results, one thing's for sure: this time next week we'll be obsessing over a fresh batch of queens and All Stars will be herstory.
