What happens in The Handmaid's Tale season 6?

What we know so far is that in the final season of The Handmaid's Tale, June's (Elisabeth Moss) unyielding spirit and determination pull her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke (O.T. Fagbenle) and Moira (Samira Wiley) join the resistance. Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) and Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) reckon with what they have wrought, and Nick (Max Minghella) faces challenging tests of character. This final chapter of June's journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.

The Handmaid's Tale is produced by MGM Television. Season six is executive-produced by Bruce Miller (series creator), Warren Littlefield, Eric Tuchman (co-showrunner), Yahlin Chang (co-showrunner), Elisabeth Moss, Steve Stark, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Kim Todd, Daniel Wilson, and Fran Sears. The series is internationally distributed by Amazon MGM Studios Distribution.

What happened in The Handmaid's Tale seasons 1-5?

To remind you how she got there, here’s a rundown of the key events of the first five seasons in Gilead.
