Brett Lee, former Australian cricketer, has told The Feed about how he came to be the romantic lead Anupam Sharma's UnIndian, starring alongside Tannishtha Chatterjee (Brick Lane, Jal).
"I got a couple of Bollywood offers, but I wasn't ready. I was still playing cricket. Then this Australian movie came across the desk. I had a look at it and loved the script, loved what it stood for, and I thought, this would be a good chance to do my first movie. So why not?"
However it might have all started with Lee sneaking out from his hotel on tour in 2006 to record a song he wrote, "You're the One for Me", with Asha Bhosle, 'the voice of every Bollywood song'. It became a hit in India.
