The screen adaptation of a best-selling Australian novel will star The Hunger Games actor Jennifer Lawrence, according to reports.
The star will reportedly play Rosie Jarman in a film-version of 'The Rosie Project' by Graeme Simsion, who also wrote the screenplay for the film.
The 2013 novel follows an awkward genetics professor named Don Tillman as he comes up with a scientific plan to finding a partner.

His method is disrupted when he meets Rosie, whose chaotic life is at odds with his criteria.
However the film is likely to relocate the Melbourne setting of the book, as Simsion told ABC journalist Mark Colvin on Twitter.
