Shuri and Spidey meet, internet breaks

OK, so maybe it didn't break the internet but it caused a stir.

The two teen Marvel characters Shuri from Black Panther and Peter Parker/Spiderman teaming up is the stuff of fan fic dreams.

So when Tom Holland and Letitia Wright appeared on stage last night together in London at the launch of Marvel's Infinity War press tour, it caused a slight upheaval on Twitter. 

This pic tweeted by Marvel studios head of theatrical marketing Asad Ayaz, proving the most popular.

The film itself is doing a good job of breaking the internet, with the hashtag #inifitywar garnering over 1m Insta posts. 

Avengers: Infinity War hits Australian cinemas 25 April.
