The other Australian to take to the stage in Kyiv will be the Blue Mountains-born and -bred winner of The Voice Australia season three, Anja Nissen. Of Danish parentage, blonde bombshell Anja, as she’s now referred to, took out the Danish national selection contest, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (a competition in which she placed second the year prior), with her co-penned “Where I Am”.

If JoJo and Jordin Sparks had a baby, it would surely be this song. The track is radio-friendly pop/R&B which showcases Anja’s stunning pipes. And there’s no doubting this Aussie girl can belt it out. The wind machines will be set to gale force in order to propel a second Aussie into the grand final.
