The artists of Eurovision 2017: O.Torvald – “Time” (Ukraine)

With the host nation granted direct entry into the grand final, rock band O.Torvald will look to emulate Jamala’s success from 2016.

Formed over a decade ago, O.Torvald secured a win at the Ukrainian national selection competition with their first ever English-language track, “Time”.

Ukraine has always managed to deliver something unique on stage, employing sand artists, dancers with whips and fabulous shimmering drag performers in the past - and O.Torvald will continue this tradition. Expect digital clocks, massive piles of junk, fire bursts and some serious guitar riffs as part of the staging of “Time”.

And with the massive controversy surrounding the Russian withdrawal from the competition, could this be Ukraine’s swansong? Only time will tell.
