The fans of PAOK are celebrating their team’s winning of the Greek Championship after 34 years. They succeeded in a grand manner, beating 5-00 Levadeiakos in their home ground of “Toumpa”, in Salonica.
Larisa had a surprise win over AEK in Athens and the team of Thessaly secured its place in the Superleague for the next season.
In Cyprus, three round before the end of the season, and there is still no champion. APOEL who remains in the first spot lost 1-0 too AEK Larnaca. Second place Apollon Limassol, did not take advantage, as they gave away points to AEL Limassol.
In Australia and the A-League Championship, in the game with which this the second last round was completed (for the regular season before the finals), Wellington Phoenix achieved a hard-fought win over Melbourne City.
