Turkey has began intesive air and land attack on the Kurdish enclave in north Syria known as Rojava. In this interview with journalist Mohemmed Billo from Afrin, we ask him about the latest situation in Afrin and its surrounding villages where the Turkish attacks have now intensified. At least 10 people have been killed in the past 24 hours. YPG has announced seven civilians and three of its fighters have been killed.

Differences over Syria policy have complicated Turkey's already difficult relationship with NATO ally the United States, which has backed the Y-P-G, seeing it as an effective partner in the fight against I-S.
