Gyan Maharjan, who is known as the "Nepali Padman" has been producing indigenous sanitary pads using cotton or flannel since the 2015 Nepal earthquake. In these four years, Maharjan has faced a lot of challenges and spoke to SBS Nepali on his product, its environmental credentials and how economical it is for the Nepali women.
