Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi is a well-known Carnatic violinist, vocalist and composer. A scholar and a presenter across many forums in India and around the world, she has delivered very well-researched and meaningful lectures on various aspects pertaining to the music and musicality of the Lalgudi style. Vijayalakshmi is currently touring Australia with her brother and collaborator Lalgudi GJR Krishnan, and mridangam maestro Trichy Sankaran. She speaks with Kulasegaram Sanchayan at the SBS Studios in Sydney.
