A multiple-award winning service, SBS broadcasts in more than 68 languages; producing 650 hours of programming each week, with thousands of correspondents across the globe, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Starting in 1975 to promote Australia's new health care system Medi-Bank, SBS Radio has grown up with multicultural Australia and is now the world’s most linguistically diverse broadcaster, a bridge linking to the 3.1+ million Australians who speak another language.

All language programs start with news and contain a mixture of current affairs, social welfare issues, talks, views, sport, community information and music. Overall, SBS Radio broadcasts 36 unique news bulletins each day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.
