People are now bringing cheeseboards to the footy

"Peak Melbourne": At yesterday's Melbourne v St Kilda match at the MCG, some Demons fans stole the show with their rather impressive choice in snacks.

Yesterday in Melbourne, the Demons played the Saints at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Melbourne Demons nabbed the win by 24 points over St Kilda Saints (96 points to 72). 

However, while the two Victorian teams battled it out, another group stole the spotlight during the derby. 

Twitter user Brendan Maloney snapped pictures of some Demons fans sitting in the upper bay of the MCG, nibbling on an impressive cheese board - complete with avocado.
The tweet has gone viral around Australia, receiving varied reactions from fellow football fans.
Some believe a cheeseboard at a football game is blasphemy, and over-the-top. Some even said the choice of snack was "the most 'Melbourne' thing" ever:
While others applauded the men, saying that it was a far preferable option to the available (and often pricey) snacks that sporting grounds tend to offer:
