Travel and food are a match made in heaven and sometimes that local, insider knowledge is what can make or break your holiday delights. Here's a few reasons why Luke is winning as our travel guide:
1. No chef, no problem
Feeling hungry? Well you're in luck, whilst you wait Luke Nguyen, trained chef and street food lover, takes charge and gets behind a street food cart to serve up a Vietnamese delicacy to you and any of the hungry locals. Talk about food on tap!

Luke cooks up some street food in Saigon, Vietnam.
2. But first, let me take a selfie...
Forget FOMO or food envy, Luke isn't shy and loves to get amongst it. That includes a few selfies with the locals. A great way to capture those delicious moments, oh and remember where you went for next time - smart!

3. He's a great ice-breaker
Lamb, chicken, beef, fish... Luke approaches street food like any traveller: even if you don't speak the language, when in doubt don't be afraid to get fun and shout it out. The language of food speaks volumes - "It’s interesting what you can come up with when you’re doing sign language and talking about certain dishes, it’s actually quite funny and I think that’s a good way to kind of break the ice a little bit between you and the local people and the local vendors."
4. Forget candlelit and white tablecloths..
Luke loves the simple feels; 2 rows of plastic chairs, natural street ambiance and going back for seconds or thirds, especially when it comes to this curry station in Bangkok, heck he doesn't even need a table!

5. He packs light
One man and his backpack! No fuss and keeping it light means more hours roaming and exploring the streets without all that excess baggage weighing you down. No doubt his body will be thankful for it!
