He's back! French chef, Gabriel Gaté, is about to kick off his own tour. In his thirteenth consecutive year, Gabriel presents his delicious serve of Taste Le Tour, a gastronomic feast that follows the route of the epic Tour de France bicycle race.

Gabriel discovers the best gourmet specialities of each region of the twenty-one stages of this amazing race.  He visits century-old markets and restaurants and features cheeses and wines that have been made in the same manner for three or four hundred years.

In 2017 the Tour begins in Germany in the classic city of Düsseldorf on the Rhine river. Gabriel then goes south to Belgium and Luxembourg to discover outstanding beer and original cheese.
During his epicure adventures Gabriel meets talented food artisans, including the best pastry cooks, bakers, wine makers, cheese makers and, of course, some wonderful master chefs.
Once in France, Gabriel continues his gourmet journey through the regions of Lorraine, Champagne, the vineyards of Burgundy, the hilly Jura, and the stunning Dordogne region before reaching the Pyrenees, the South-West, Languedoc-Roussillon, the north of Provence, and the French Alps.  At the end of his epic journey Gabriel celebrates in the beautiful city of Paris.

During his epicure adventures Gabriel meets talented food artisans, including the best pastry cooks, bakers, wine makers, cheese makers and, of course, some wonderful master chefs.

Having trained as a chef in France with some of the great French Master Chefs, Gabriel firmly believes France is the most exciting country in the world for food.

Gabriel knows France intimately and has chosen for his stories some stunning scenery in each region, including a number of the most historic and picturesque French villages.
