In this episode, Luke reaches the beautiful beaches of the east coast, stopping in to visit relatives in Phan Thiet. At his family’s noodle store at a busy market, Luke and his parents prepare a traditional local dish. Then, on the waterfront at Mui Ne, Luke wanders through the chaos of the early morning fish market, where hundreds of local ladies meet to haggle and sell their morning catch. Having made his purchase, Luke creates a delectable razor clam salad right on the beach. Finally, the centuries-old tradition of rice paper making is explored and Luke prepares traditional rice paper rolls using the freshest of ingredients.
