Luke crosses the Mekong River into Cambodia and the ancient city of Siem Reap. Luke explores the revered temples of Angkor Wat and meets local chefs to learn traditional Khmer dishes that were all but forgotten during Pol Pot’s reign. Luke hits the local market to buy ingredients for the famous Siem Reap sausage, which he learns how to make with a family of sausage-making experts. In one of his more unusual recipes, Luke cooks a noodle dish in the back of a tuk-tuk as curious onlookers buzz past. Heading out of town, Luke sees how locals harvest palm sugar and creates a tasty dessert with its fruit as local children watch on.
