Foodora has announced plans to develop an in-flight delivery program for gourmet space food.
Space food is bland and the food delivery giant says it is looking for a partner to ensure their new galactic menu reaches Earth’s cosmic travellers, with prototype foods from popular associates including N2 Gelato and Mad Mex already on board.
In a statement released to the media on Friday, the company highlighted the significance of the development:
"Foodora is in the painstaking process of carefully developing how this food will be perfectly adapted to suit the conditions aboard a spacecraft. To do this, it’s enlisted the help of top chefs at the aforementioned restaurants, along with a dedicated team of scientists, to create food that will not only survive the extreme conditions of outer space, but also taste truly delicious.
It’s one small step for man, one giant leap for food delivery. Who says you can’t reach for the moon – to infinity and beyond we go!"
Batteries go organic
Uncle Tobys has made similar progress, announcing the launch of ‘O Energy’ Oat batteries – the world’s first batteries powered entirely by natural oats.
Oats are known for their nutritional value and slow energy release. With this latest innovation set to transform the industry with tests run by Uncle Tobys proving that boat-powered batteries produce more power than all others currently sold on the market.
In a statement released to the media, the company explained the science behind the batteries:
"Traditionally, the positive and negative electrodes are separated by a basic chemical electrolyte – usually, a liquid or a dry powder. Different to any other battery, the energy harnessed from oats creates a thick oat puree which generates a superior reaction."
Other April Fool's Day pranks we believed
By now we you've probably realised these ideas were slightly too farfetched to be real.

In 2016 New York Pizza kitchen Sbarro “released” pizza scented candles.
Burger King introduced their Chicken Fries Shake.
