Throughout his life, James Squire always took the path less travelled. Today, his legacy lives on – in the beer that bears his name, and in the attitude and approach of men of many tastes. Risk-takers and mould-breakers, they push boundaries and challenge convention. They are rogues to a man and these are their stories.

As our roguish host, Henry Wagons, puts it: ‘Gentlemen, a moment of your time…’ – and let us take you on a journey through the bundle of contradictions that is a man’s soul. Much like the historical James Squire, we are all, in our own ways, saints and sinners. We are all capable of bringing together seeming incongruities, because none of us are ever straightforward.

Take, for example, Jesse Olsen – a man who produces exquisite, delicate artwork with his hands, yet also puts those same hands in boxing gloves to unleash fury. He is a contradiction, a man, a rogue – and his story is one worth telling.
