She won The Great British Bake Off, she's just baked a cake for the Queen and now Nadiya Hussain will have her own cooking show. Hussain’s show will be called The Chronicles of Nadiya - clearly a take on the C.S Lewis series, The Chronicles of Narnia.

The books - which have been made into four movies - feature four children who step through a wardrobe to the land of Narnia, where they learn that their destiny is to free the land with help from a mystical lion. Nadiya's also going to be on a journey. The reality show winner is set to host a two-part documentary on the BBC where she will travel from her home in Luton to her family village in Bangladesh and trace the culinary roots of her family on the way.

Hussain tweeted about the new show.

Hussein’s cooking series is a contender for punniest food show title. What's she up against? Well, there are these:

1. Oliver’s Twist

This television series featured British chef Jamie Oliver. The title of the show is a, er, twist on the novel and movie, Oliver Twist. The cooking show was a huge success across the world, being shown in more than 70 countries.

2. Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

The American bad-ass chef travels the world meeting and eating. He's usually fearless, quite happy to shock the people he meets and us, the viewers. Catch Season 4 on SBS on Demand. He's fond of a good phrase, is Bourdain: his other show and book titles include Kitchen Confidential, Medium Raw and The Nasty Bits.

3. Wok with Yan

The Chinese cooking show was first produced in Vancouver, Canada and starred Stephen Yan. It was broadcast on CBC and CBUT. It later became popular internationally, reaching America, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore for many years. Yan used to wear an apron during each show with a different play on the word wok written on it, like “Wok and Roll”.

4. The Chew

The name for this American cooking-themed talk show is based off the popular talk show, The View. It has been running since 2011 on America’s ABC and is part of the network's daytime line-up. The show is also broadcast in Canada.

5. The Chronicles of Nadiya

You know, she might just belong at the top of this list. As for the show itself - and whether there are any wardrobes or lions involved, we'll have to wait and see. No release date has yet been announced.
