Craving a good meal but can't be bothered doing the washing up? It's okay – we get like that, too! That's why we have one-pan (or pot!) wonders. Here are some of our favourites:
This dish, shared by Adam Liaw on The Cook Up, originates from Yunnan, in the south of China, a very ethnically diverse region including the Dai peoples. Though it bears a striking resemblance to Southeast Asian cuisine, this herbaceous beef dish is distinctly Dai in origin.

Cooked low and slow, with minimal prep, this is a wonderfully tender lamb dinner. Serve with bread to mop up the juices!

Everything (including sausages squeezed into little quick meatballs) goes into a pan and into the oven, and is finished with a shower of grated parmesan.

This super simple recipe is a one-pan track to sticky, finger-licking pork. You're basically boiling a piece of pork neck into sticky, tender submission. Can't get any easier than that!

This French dish is cooked and served in a cast-iron skillet. Put it on the table with crusty bread and salad and let everyone serve themselves.

This takes only a handful of ingredients and happens all in one pan!

Paella is one of the original one-pan wonders. Its trademark soccarat - that crunchy layer of rice at the base of the pan - infuses the saffron rice with a caramelised flavour. This feeds eight, so it's good for a crowd!

A dry rub used on the chicken adds flavour before it's cooked in the oven 'til tender, with feta added when the chicken is almost done.

Comedian Becky Lucas cooked up this mince bowl on The Cook Up. Ready in just 20 minutes and with a sauce made from pantry staples, it’s sure to be a new weekly favourite!
