This week Living Black is on location in Esperance, WA, where local Noongar people are turning their traditions into business ventures.

In the Pilbara, we'll visit a community in crisis: Cheeditha's dilapidated and overcrowded living conditions have residents fearing for their health.

Back in NSW, where just a fraction of the region's 70 Aboriginal languages remain, we report on attempts underway to preserve those still spoken.

And we'll profile model Emily Cattermole, granddaughter of Ernie Bridge, WA's first Aboriginal Member of Parliament. With her international career taking off, she tells Living Black why her heart remains in Perth.
