Nissin, the brand behind the world-famous Cup Noodle (there's even a Cup Noodle museum in Osaka!) are releasing a 'noise-cancelling ramen fork'.
Nissin is making only 5,000 of the Otohiko fork - so if you're struggling with misophonia (hatred of eating noises) in your local ramen joint, you'll have to be quick to snap up the gadget.
At A$170, the Otohiko fork helps to minimise slurping sounds with the assistance of users' smartphones.
According to a video from Nissin, sensors inside the fork pick up on the slurping noises. The fork then sends a signal to your smartphone, which masks the sounds by playing white noise or other soothing, relaxing music.
