Hummus has no borders according to Breaking Bread, a documentary directed by Beth Elise Hawk who among her slate executive produced the MTV television series Eye Candy, based on the book by best-selling author, R. L. Stine.

This delicious documentary follows a group of Jewish and Palestinian chefs who take part in a unique food festival in the Israeli city of Haifa. The feel-good – and extremely appetising – message of the film is clear: Arabs and Jews should unite over their shared love of food rather than fighting. Featuring freshly chopped Israeli/Arab salad, exquisite mussakhan (Palestinian roast chicken) and kreplach made to perfection, Breaking Bread is a mouth-watering film about hope, collaboration and exotic fare.

The Jewish International Film Festival is giving away 5 x double passes to screenings of Breaking Bread across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra.

This competition is open to entrants in the participating cities listed above, with one double pass available per city.
