Gourmet Safaris is a food tour company started 18 years ago by Food Safari host Maeve O’Meara. "The idea came to me when my mothers’ group asked me to take them to a Lebanese restaurant they’d heard me talking about on radio," says Maeve. "I loved the experience of opening up new food worlds to them, introducing them to my friend the chef, tasting a special menu and getting a few recipes to try later. I realised people love finding authentic delicious food and being guided in their experience and also that I knew so many chefs, bakers, artisan food businesses and providores I wanted to help shine."

Thanks to Gourmet Safaris, you could win one of four double passes to a food tour in Melbourne or Sydney. Hosted by a local food expert (Maeve O'Meara, if you're lucky!), each tour will take you to a vibrant suburb with a passionate food culture. See itineraries for the tours and entry form below.
