Australia takes 15 & Under Junior Indoor Cricket title 2018

Australia's 15 & Under boys team defeated South Africa in final of the Indoor Cricket Junior World Series tournament.

The final score was Australia 134 and South Africa 72 at the event, at the Action Indoor Sports Hornby Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand from 29 September to 6 October 2018. 

Bangladeshi Australian Mahdee Islam made a significant contribution to this as a team member.

Teams from Australia, England, South Africa and Singapore travelled over for the event.

Grades featured in the tournament were:

*13 & Under Boys

*15 & Under Boys

*17 & Under Boys

*17 & Under Girls

Australia was represented by three male teams and one female team.

At the 17 & Under level, both a male and female team took to the courts, with male teams also competing at 15 & Under and 13 & Under level.
