Afghanistan whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 in the bilateral T20I series after winning the third and final match by one run at Dehradun, India on Thursday. Former Bangladesh captain Aminul Islam Bulbul has commented, "Bangladesh was disrupted throughout the series." SBS Bangla spoke with him about the T20I series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Bangladesh lost the third T20I against Afghanistan by one run. Mushfiqur-Mahmudullah pair gave a good fight to the 145-run victory against Afghanistan, but couldn't save Bangladesh.
"Mushfiqur-Mahmudullah is our best batsman. They again proved it yesterday," said Aminul Islam Bulbul, who is the Development Manager of ICC Asia.
"Shakib is good as a player, it's proven, but not as a captain."
"However, he has not only been responsible for the series defeat but also the entire team management," said Aminul Islam Bulbul.
Bulbul also said, "if Bangladesh wants to develop in T20I, then they need to give more focus on Domestic Cricket League."
