Boris Johnson’s Conservatives sweep Labour aside in 'historic' British election

Boris Johnson's Conservatives have won the UK election with a result that has prompted Labour's Jeremy Corbyn to declare he will eventually step down as leader. The Conservatives are on track to win 368 seats giving them the largest majority in decades.
