As another week ends in politics, the fallout over some federal politicians being ineligible to take their places in federal parliament won't go away. Amidst calls from some quarters for the constitution to be changed to allow dual-citizens to sit in federal parliament, campaigning for by-elections caused by the latest round of resignations is intensifying. The opposition is looking to move away from the saga by concentrating on local issues for voters in those by-elections. And it all comes as federal parliament gets set to resume sitting next week.
