Corporate watchdog slams big banks over financial advice to customers

The majority of people seeking financial advice from Australia's biggest banks are being pushed into home-brand products, even when they're not in their best interest. Just weeks out from a royal commission into the banks, corporate watchdog ASIC claims the widespread practice is leaving many customers significantly worse off.
