Dual-citizenship case now set for October

The fate of politicians caught up in the dual-citizenship saga will not be known for months, as the High Court has allocated three days in mid-October to consider their plight. The court has held preliminary hearings in Brisbane and will allow former MP Tony Windsor to join the challenge. Windsor's lawyers will argue Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce was in breach of the Constitution when he defeated Mr Windsor in his seat at the last election.
