Labor Senator Sam Dastyari quits

Labor Senator Sam Dastyari has yielded to pressure and resigned his spot on the federal opposition frontbench. Senator Dastyari has admitted making a mistake in asking a donor with links to the Chinese government to pay a personal debt of his of around sixteen hundred dollars. Dastyari acknowledged that that admission was not enough.
