New terror laws to keep offenders in jail

New laws have been proposed which would keep people convicted of terror offences in prison once their sentences are finished. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says the terror threat has grown and the new laws are needed to respond to the growing number and severity of attacks across the world.
