Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has emphasised the need for diplomatic pressure to stifle North Korea's nuclear ambitions in a visit to the South Korean-North Korean border. Joined by Defence Minister Marise Payne, Ms Bishop's visit is for a third round of talks to diffuse tension in the region. In a meantime North Korea has issued a warning to Australia, threatening unavoidable "disaster" if the country continues to support the U-S and South Korea's "military provocations" toward the North.
