The surprising history of Ciabatta bread

This an interesting story about the history of ciabatta, the Italian bread that conquers the world. For those who don't know, ciabatta is a bread, brown and crispy on the outside, and soft and juicy on the inside, and because of its appearance similar to a house slipper, it was called ciabatta.
