Trump agrees to talks with Kim after surprise offer

In a stunning diplomatic development, United States president Donald Trump has agreed to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un by May. It comes after Mr Kim promised not to test any more missiles or nuclear weapons. No sitting US president has ever met a North Korean leader, and both leaders have previously traded threats of war.
