Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has used a major speech to renew pressure on Labor to pass budget savings in the new parliament. Mr Turnbull has outlined more than 6 billion dollars worth of savings that Labor indicated during the election campaign it could support. He has welcomed the news that the credit agency Moody's has again given Australia a triple-A credit rating. But he has warned the budget-cutting measures need to pass to ensure the credit rating is retained.
