Action: Call to increase parent visa cost

The policy changes have been made to streamline new pathways to permanent residency, especially to address skill shortages in Australia.

The Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia says a call from the Productivity Commission to reevaluate visas for the parents of immigrants is 'nonsense' which discounts their contribution to the community. Meanwhile, Assistant Immigration Minister Alex Hawke announced Friday a temporary visa for five years at a time for aged parents of immigrants in Australia. Whats your say on Parent Visa?
