There were over 77 Chinese-Australian cadidates in the NSW 2017 Local Government Election, which brought strong responses in the Chinese community. The campaigns between them were very strong and arose broad debates. How do you see Chinese-Australian Participation in Politics? Would it cause the community to be torn? Jie Chen, an Assoc/Prof of Political Science and International Relations in the University of Western Australia, commented on the topic.
