The campaign claimed big business has too much power. A third of them aren’t paying any tax. And, too many big businesses are in a race to the bottom on wages and job security. As a result, 40% of Australians are in insecure work and wages have flat-lined.

ACTU is distributing in-language flyers in Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Korean and encourage people to share their own stories with them campaigning for more secure work and fair pay rises.

Shuang Wang, a member of ACTU, told SBS Radio Mandarin Producer Alan Qu that many Chinese migrants like her had no better options but accepted the insured jobs with low payments to meet the basic needs of life.
