In recent years, the Fair Work Ombudsman has been trying to help migrant workers recoup millions of dollars in unpaid wages. In March 2013, the federal government passed forced-labour laws that, so far, remain largely untested. SBS Insight speaks to several exploited workers who had to deal with harsh conditions and abusive employers.
