Australians have marked the country's national day in many different ways.

There are many different ways to mark Australia Day.

Many celebrated with the traditional barbecues, concerts, and revelry.

For many, this was a day to celebrate Australia by officially becoming Australian.

But Australia Day is not a happy day for all.

At least five thousand people gathered at a march in central Melbourne, demanding indigenous land rights.
